Questionable Findings and Recommendations
Multiple reviewers have reported receiving excessive and unrealistic repair estimates from FEI, with some even accusing the company of being notorious for this practice. In one instance, a reviewer was told they needed to spend upwards of $20,000 on repairs, including multiple piers, foam injection, and a retaining wall rebuild, only to have a second inspection company refute these claims and recommend only $5,000 in cosmetic repairs. Another reviewer was told to install six piers along their house, but a second opinion revealed that these piers would not have fixed a separate, more pressing issue.
Unprofessional Behavior
