Day's Floor Company began as a small storefront and warehouse in Springfield, MO, in 1993. Founded by David and Melody Day, the company started with only a potential customer list and the help of a flooring mentor, Weston Horst. With a dedication to seeing customers happy and a growing business, the Days opened a second location in Marshfield, closer to home. In 2010, the company made a significant decision to close their Springfield location and build a new store and warehouse in Marshfield, during a time when new housing construction had stopped, and many were struggling. Today, Day's Floor Company operates out of the Marshfield location six days a week, with six employees and twelve installers, serving a diverse range of customers from all walks of life.

Laminate: Laminate is still a great cost-friendly alternative to real wood but has been overshadowed by the LVP trend in recent years. It offers many of the same benefits as most LVP's including water resistance, easy installation, and a realistic look. However, it is often not seen as being as water-resistant as LVP, making it less suitable for areas prone to moisture.
