Since 1948, Davis Lumber & Hardware has been a trusted name in the building materials and hardware industry. Our story began with a humble start in an old garage on East Street, where we would take orders and buy lumber from local mills. Over the years, we've experienced continued growth and success, driven by our commitment to providing exceptional service and a wide range of products to meet our customers' needs.

Our Services

At Davis Lumber & Hardware, we offer a comprehensive range of services to both contractors and homeowners. Our lumber yard is stocked with a variety of lumber and building materials, including hardwoods, softwoods, shiplap, treated lumber, and more. Our hardware store, spanning over 10,000 square feet, carries thousands of items, from plumbing and electrical supplies to garden tools and power equipment. We also have access to a vast network of products, ensuring that we can fulfill any size job or meet any specific requirement.

History

Our history is marked by milestones and the dedication of our employees. After starting the business, the late Franklin Davis and his wife Francine worked tirelessly to build the company. When Franklin passed away in 1972, Rodney Ellis took over as General Manager, guiding the company until his retirement in 1994. Mike and Mark Davis then took the reins until their retirement in 2017. Today, we continue to build on this legacy, driven by our commitment to our customers and our community.

Our Locations

We have two convenient locations: one in Texarkana at 2010 East Street, and another in Malvern at 22433 US-67. Our experienced staff is always ready to assist you at either location.
