At Drive-Rite Driving School, we are dedicated to providing top-notch driving instruction to individuals of all ages and skill levels. As the only AAA-approved driving school in the region, we take pride in our ability to offer a wide range of services, from driver's education programs for teenagers to defensive driving courses for professionals.

Our Services

Our comprehensive driver's education program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become safe and responsible drivers. Our expert instructors have developed a 36-hour curriculum that covers everything from road safety and defensive driving techniques to traffic laws and regulations. We also offer behind-the-wheel instruction, where students can gain hands-on experience and practice their driving skills under the supervision of our experienced instructors.

In addition to our driver's education program, we also offer ticket classes for individuals who have received traffic citations. These classes are designed to help drivers improve their driving skills and reduce their risk of future accidents. We also provide customized driving programs for corporate clients, including fleet safety training and defensive driving courses.

Our History

Our story began in 1943 when William E. "Bill" Love founded Safeway Driving School. Over the years, we have evolved and expanded our services to include a wide range of driving programs. In 1989, we launched Drive-Rite as a division of Safeway, with a focus on classroom instruction. Today, we are proud to be the premier driving school in East Tennessee, with a reputation for excellence and a commitment to safety.
