Tile Center, Inc., proudly owned and operated by the Goldberg Family, has been a leading supplier of ceramic and stone products in South Carolina for over six decades. We are deeply rooted in old-world business traditions and values, a legacy instilled by our founder, Felix Goldberg, and continue to uphold his vision of providing exceptional service and quality to both the construction trade and individual homeowners. Our Columbia and Florence locations are run by Felix's children, Karl and Esther, ensuring that the family's commitment to excellence remains at the core of everything we do.

Tile Center's story is one of resilience, hard work, and an unwavering dedication to quality. Felix, having survived the hardships of the Nazi regime, arrived in Columbia, South Carolina in 1949 with only his determination and a spirit of hope. Unable to speak much English and with very limited resources, he began working as a tile setter's helper. Through tireless effort, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication, Felix saved every penny, and in 1960, established The Tile and Carpet Center. This marked the beginning of a remarkable journey, spanning over 40 years, where Felix, alongside his beloved wife Bluma, built a successful business, leaving a lasting legacy on the South Carolina ceramic and stone industry.
