With over 20 years of combined experience, our crew has developed a deep understanding of the local marine life and the art of shark diving.

Our Fleet

We proudly operate the 30-foot Island Hopper, Salty Too, which has been meticulously maintained to ensure your comfort and safety. Our boat features a spacious deck, ample tank stations, and a large dive platform for easy entry and exit. We provide a variety of snacks and beverages, and our captain, Roger Haddix, is happy to accommodate special requests, including vegetarian and vegan options.

Meet Our Captain

Captain Roger Haddix is a seasoned mariner with over 20 years of experience operating vessels. He holds a 100-ton Master Captain License and is certified to operate vessels up to 100 tons with unlimited passengers. With over 8 years of experience working in Florida's waters, Captain Roger has gained extensive knowledge of the local area and is equipped to tailor each trip to suit our guests' preferences.

Shark Handlers

Our team of experienced shark handlers, Anne Bunjes and David Crose, are dedicated to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all our guests. They are trained professionals who have worked with a wide range of marine life, including sharks, sea turtles, and fish.

Dive Sites

Florida's East Coast is home to a diverse range of marine life, including coral reefs, dolphins, sea turtles, mantas, and hundreds of species of fish. Every dive site in Jupiter is a drift dive, and a SMB (Surface Marker Buoy) is required by law. We offer a variety of dives, including Baited Shark Dives, Reefs & Wrecks, Spearfishing/Lobstering, and Scuba Diving.

Safety First

At Salty Divers, we prioritize safety above all else. Our Dive Master will provide an in-depth safety briefing before each dive, covering topics such as shark interaction, entry/exit protocols, and estimated dive time. We also require all divers to have their Advanced and Nitrox certification before participating in our shark diving activities.

Shark Diving Requirements

To participate in our shark diving activities, we require all divers to have their Advanced and Nitrox certification. We will provide guidance on proper behavior while around sharks, ensuring that all divers are comfortable prior to entering the water. We also recommend that divers wear black hoods, gloves, and dark wetsuits to minimize visibility. Our shark handlers will be in the water throughout the dive, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.

Shark Snorkeling

You don't have to be scuba certified to experience the thrill of swimming with our beautiful sharks. Our daily afternoon shark snorkel trip leaves the dock at 2:30 PM. Our shark handler will bring the sharks up to the surface, allowing you to snorkel up close and personal with these amazing animals.
