Dr. Hneich's practice is based on Evidence-Based Psychopharmacology, Supportive and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. Professional Background

Dr. Hneich received her medical degree from the Central University of Venezuela in 1984. She then went on to complete a residency in Gynecology and Human Reproduction and a fellowship in Gynecologic Surgery at the Carlos J Bello Hospital - Venezuelan Red Cross. Dr. Hneich practiced Gynecology, Human Reproduction, and Gynecologic Surgery at Clinicas Caracas Hospital between 1993 and 1998. She then moved to the Washington D.C. Metro area, where she completed a Master of Public Health at The George Washington University and a U.S. Residency training program in Psychiatry at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Washington D.C.

Dr. Hneich has worked as a Hospitalist at INOVA Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, VA, and has admitting privileges at INOVA Fairfax Hospital and INOVA Loudoun Hospital in Northern Virginia. She has also worked as an Outpatient Psychiatrist at Fairfax County Community Service Board for the past 12 years. Dr. Hneich currently runs a private practice located in Tysons Corner area in Northern Virginia.
