Our History

Houston Aircraft Instruments, Inc. was founded in 1974 by the late Ernie Eskine. We began at William P. Hobby Airport in Houston, Texas, with a single goal in mind: to develop a reputation for quality service at a reasonable price. Over the years, we have grown substantially, and our client base has expanded throughout the country and globally.

By the late 1990s, HAI had established an excellent reputation among a wide range of clients in the continental United States and worldwide. Due to our continued growth, we decided to build a new facility to better serve our clients' needs. In December 2006, we moved into our new building in Pearland, Texas, which is located 6 miles south of William P. Hobby Airport and 7.4 miles northwest of Pearland Regional Airport.

This new location has given us more opportunities for growth and expansion in our overhaul capabilities. For over 49 years, our commitment to our customers has remained the same: honesty, integrity, and excellent service.
