At Federated Mortgage Services, we strive to make the loan application process as simple and efficient as possible. Once you select us to obtain your home loan, you'll be amazed at how quickly and smoothly the loan process moves. Here's an overview of our loan application process:
Step One: Prior to selecting a property, we offer a free pre-approval process. We strongly suggest being pre-approved, so when you are writing an offer, you will be required to issue a pre-approval letter at the time of negotiations. Most sellers want to be assured that the buyer has been pre-approved before accepting an offer. Once you've selected a property and have a contract with the Seller, the next step is to contact us for a loan application by phone or online request. If you are refinancing, the same process applies without the seller contact. At the appropriate time, we'll order a property appraisal for you.
Step Two: Your Real Estate Agent or the Seller will make suggestions and designate an escrow/title company to handle the funding of the loan, along with many other factors which make your purchase go smoothly. We will coordinate with the escrow team and you'll sign the final papers at their office. At any point, feel free to e-mail or call us regarding any questions you may have.
