Our Story

Signs First has been a part of the Nashville community since 1991, when Wayne and Lynette Meece founded the company in a strip mall in Belle Meade. Over the years, the business has grown significantly, but the core values and mission have remained the same. Signs First is dedicated to exceeding client expectations by doing things the way they need to be done, not the way they've always been done.

Tim Elizer, our President, is responsible for keeping team morale high and leading Signals First to new heights.

David Bethuy, our General Manager, oversees the operations of the entire shop.

Jonathan Annis, our Director of Sales, manages the 1s and 0s that drive our sales efforts.

Mike Waggoner, our Production Manager, coordinates and delegates specific jobs to the production staff, ensuring deadlines are met and installations are scheduled.

Timothy Juday, our Print Surgeon, makes customers' signs come to life while creating an inspiring atmosphere that fosters creativity, honesty, and uniqueness.

Reid Welsh, our Multi-Tenant Account Manager, makes sense of random ideas and puts together all the thoughts to produce something amazing.
