For over a century, the Georgia State Golf Association (GSGA) has been committed to promoting and developing the game of golf throughout the state of Georgia. Our mission is to serve and advance the game, while providing a range of services and opportunities for golfers of all ages and skill levels.

Our Story

Founded in 1916, the GSGA has a rich history of supporting and growing the game of golf in Georgia. From casual rounds with friends and fellow members to competitive tournaments and competitions, our organization is dedicated to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for golfers of all backgrounds.

Our Services

At the GSGA, we offer a variety of services and programs designed to enhance the golfing experience. Our services include:

• Casual Golf: Play with friends and fellow members in fun, casual rounds of golf.
• Competitions: Join our statewide competitions for men and women of all ages and skill levels.
• Junior Tour: Our statewide junior golf program is for all skill levels between the ages of 5 and 18.
• Adaptive Golf: A complimentary program for individuals with physical, cognitive or sensory impairments.
• Handicapping & Course Rating: GSGA members receive a Handicap Index, which allows you to post scores.
• Rules of Golf: Dive into the rules of golf with resources to educate all players.
• Membership: Join or renew your GSGA membership and take advantage of exclusive benefits.
• Foundation: The GSGA Foundation is the charitable affiliate of the GSGA, assisting the golf industry in Georgia through scholarship programs, adaptive golf, and junior golf initiatives.

Our Programs

• Junior Golf: Our statewide junior golf program is for all skill levels between the ages of 5 and 18.
• U.S. National Development Program: Expanding the pipeline for elite local golfers into the national development program to strengthen junior golf programming.
• Youth on Course Georgia: Providing young people with life-changing opportunities through the game of golf.
• Scholarships: The GSGA has awarded more than $4.5 million in scholarships to deserving students.
