At Appleton Sign Company, we are a design-build firm that has been serving the Fox Valley region for over 75 years. Our team of experts is dedicated to providing innovative and effective solutions for our clients' sign needs. Our expertise ranges from conceptual design to fabrication and installation, ensuring that every project is executed to perfection.

Our History

Founded in 1935, Appleton Neon and Sign has a rich history of serving the Fox Valley region. Over the years, we have continuously improved our business processes and developed a talented team of sign industry experts. In 2000, we acquired Sign-Tech of Wisconsin and updated our business name to Appleton Sign Company. In 2010, we acquired Cochran Sign Company to enhance our service to clients in Southeast Wisconsin. In 2019, we were purchased by three of our managing partners, Eric Cates, Jason Mengert, and Josh Turkow.

Design: Our award-winning design team creates designs that are tailored to meet our clients' specific needs. We provide 3D renderings, conceptual designs, and complete design intent development.

Fabrication: Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest technology and tools, including 2 overhead cranes, a 40' paint booth, and computerized equipment. Our certified fabricators ensure that every sign is crafted with precision and attention to detail.

Installation: Our team of skilled installers is experienced in installing signs in various environments. We use a range of vehicles, including flatbed trucks, box trucks, and skid-steer equipment.

Service: Our service team is dedicated to providing prompt and professional repair services for signs that are damaged due to weather, vehicle accidents, or age. We also offer retrofits and replacement services for fluorescent and LED lights.
