At Designated Driver Service (DDS), we pride ourselves on providing reliable, safe, and comfortable transportation services to the residents of Redding, Anderson, Palo Cedro, Bella Vista, Central Valley, and Cottonwood. Our team of experienced drivers, trained security officers, and courteous staff are dedicated to ensuring that our passengers have a pleasant experience while in our care.

Our Services

We offer a range of services designed to cater to the diverse needs of our community. Our DDS Medical Transport service is a registered Non-Medical Transportation Service (NMT) with Medi-Cal, providing transportation to doctor's appointments, hospitals, adult day care facilities, and other medical destinations. We also offer DDS Prescription Pickup, allowing our passengers to get their prescriptions delivered right to their doorstep. Additionally, our Give A Senior A Ride program is designed to assist senior citizens who are unable to get a ride to the grocery store or pick up prescriptions, and live on a fixed income.

Our taxi service is one of the lowest rates in town, with courteous and clean-cut drivers who wear uniforms. We offer discounts for veterans, senior citizens, and members, as well as reduce rates for membership packages. Our dispatch center is open Monday to Friday from 7am to 9pm, and Saturday from 10am to 9pm.
