Casa Serenity is an Adult Residential Care Facility dedicated to serving mental health residents. We operate two facilities, one located on 12 acres of serene countryside at 100 Orchard Way, and the other nestled along the Sacramento River at 810 Rio St. in Red Bluff, California. Our facilities are designed to provide a peaceful and supportive environment that enhances self-esteem and fosters independence for our residents.

Our Facilities

Casa Serenity on Orchard Way is a six-bedroom, four-bath residence with an indoor pool and a certified lifeguard on staff. This facility is situated in a quiet country setting yet is still close to town and amenities. The facility can accommodate up to 16 ambulatory residents in semi-private rooms. We have a fully enclosed, locked pool house showcasing an Olympic-size pool, a designated smoking area, and a beautiful backyard.

Casa Serenity on Rio is a riverfront home overlooking the Sacramento River and just a short 2-minute walk from downtown Red Bluff. This facility offers 16 private bedrooms while providing the same facility program and scope of work. Our riverfront facility is dedicated to providing care in the least restrictive environment, promoting integration of individuals with disabilities into the community, and improving quality of life.

Professional Staff

At Casa Serenity, our caring and committed staff provide residents with safety, support, stability, and individual/group activities tailored to meet their various needs and wishes. We firmly believe that every resident's voice matters, which is why we conduct an in-house counsel meeting every month to give residents the opportunity to express their feelings, questions, or concerns, and continuously enhance our services.

Facility Programs - Life Skills

Our residential program focuses on teaching social skills and independent living, such as taking medication, scheduling treatment appointments, transportation, and performing daily living skills like grooming and hygiene. We also promote and teach "Successful Work Experience" through activities, such as gardening and personal money management programs. Our goal is to empower our residents and equip them with the necessary skills to promote independent living.

Facility Programs - Therapy & Psycho-Educational Groups

At Casa Serenity, our groups are open-ended, allowing us to address the needs of clients in a timely manner. Our topics include but are not limited to cycle of violence, power and control/equality, red flags of intimate partner violence, time out, drug & alcohol enmeshment/enabling, stress management, self-care, positive self-talk, and basic issues. Our group facilitators are certified Domestic Violence Counselors with expertise in family violence and anger management. Co-facilitators may include Therapist Trainees or MSW interns.

Amenities & Services

At Casa Serenity, we offer several amenities and services to make our residents feel comfortable and supported. These include basic meal service, laundry service, cleaning service, weekly linen changes (more frequent if needed), transportation for community-based recreational activities, assistance with activities of daily living, observation and appropriate reporting of residents' needs and conditions, telephone/internet/TV services, recycling service, bowling (Tuesday nights), shopping, AA/NA groups, transportation for athletic league competition, and equine therapy.

We accept the board and care rate as established by SSI, plus a patch rate per day per person. If you have any questions about our pricing or services, please do not hesitate to contact us.
