Vermont Professional Photographers

Founded in 1929, we are Vermont's premier professional photography association dedicated to advancing the art and science of photography. Our organization fosters professional growth through educational workshops, networking opportunities, and annual conventions featuring guest speakers from around the world. We maintain rigorous ethical standards while promoting photographic excellence through competitions and community engagement. Our members benefit from bi-monthly meetings, access to industry resources, and a supportive network of peers. We serve both seasoned professionals and aspiring photographers seeking to refine their craft.

Our commitment to education extends to scholarship programs and mentorship initiatives. As a non-profit organization, we prioritize the advancement of photography as both an art form and a profession. Our governance follows structured bylaws established in 1994 and updated through 2015. We maintain transparent financial practices with annual dues and expense reporting. Our members adhere to a strict code of ethics emphasizing professional integrity and public service.
