Our Story

The Lighting Agency Norwest was founded by Bill Nelson, who inherited his father's knowledge and strong character traits. Bill's father, Charlie Nelson, was the owner of Norwest Inc. and worked as a manufacturer's representative for over 50 years, specializing in the Aerospace sector. In 1983, Bill Nelson partnered with Will Bennett of The Lighting Agency, and together they created The Lighting Agency Norwest. Since 1987, Bill Nelson has been the sole proprietor of The Lighting Agency Norwest, maintaining a family-owned and operated company that specializes in excellent customer service, intense product knowledge, and friendly staff.
