Our History
East Douglas Veterinary Clinic was established in 1987 as a satellite clinic of Solomon Veterinary Clinic. In March of 2001, we became an independent practice. Our founder, Dr. Cowan, has been at this location since the clinic opened. Over the years, we have built a reputation for excellence, dedicated to the health and well-being of our furry patients.
Our Philosophy
We believe in preventative medicine and the early detection of health problems. This begins with puppy and kitten examinations and vaccinations. It continues into adulthood with routine check-ups, heartworm tests, and other diagnostic evaluations. With the aging of our pet population, new information emerges almost daily to enhance and extend the quality and quantity of life to these "senior citizens". This philosophy of practice is best served if there is excellent communication with our clients. We will listen to you and do our utmost to fulfill the level of care you desire for your pet.
