Log Cabins
Fully equipped 500 sq ft cabins sleep 2-4 guests with kitchenettes, living areas, and decks overlooking pine forests. Includes cooking amenities, linens, and outdoor grills. Requires 3-night minimum stay during peak seasons with no smoking or pets allowed.
Stargazer A-Frames
Unique A-frame cabins with clear roof panels for stargazing feature king/queen beds, mini-fridges, and private bathhouses. Each unit includes outdoor seating, picnic areas, and fire pit access. Requires 2-night minimum stay with no pets or smoking permitted.
Sheep Wagon Rentals
Authentic 19th-century style wagons sleep 2 guests with wood stoves, compost toilets, and solar showers. Can be placed near other rentals for groups or used standalone. Includes firewood and outdoor cooking equipment with no electricity access.
Horse Hotel Facility
Our barn facility offers large stalls with individual paddocks for horses. Located near mountain trails and pasture areas with easy access to riding paths. Includes feeding areas and storage for tack and equipment.

Raised in Oregon rodeo culture, Mackenzie transitioned from law enforcement to hospitality. She founded Dakota Dream to combine family life with her passion for horses and nature education through K-9 programs.
Madeline Wright

Assisting with guest services, Madeline brings youthful energy to Dakota Dream's operations while supporting her mother's vision for family-centered hospitality in the Black Hills.
