Our Story

Dr. Goldstein's journey in medicine began with a bachelor's degree in science from the University of Vermont in 1975. He then attended New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, where he received his medical degree. Dr. Goldstein completed his internship in general surgery at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in Manhattan, New York, and returned to New York Medical College for a four-year residency in orthopedics. His first private practice role was at South Nassau Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, PC in Valley Stream, New York, where he gained a decade of experience before opening his practice in 1995.

Dr. Goldstein is an experienced physician with a particular interest in sports medicine. He has been a team doctor at St. John's University in New York City and an orthopedic consultant and team doctor for the United States men's foil fencing team. Dr. Goldstein combines his expertise with the latest state-of-the-art technologies and advances in orthopedic medicine to provide patients with the highest quality services. He expertly carries out a range of treatments from steroid injections to minimally invasive surgery, as well as regenerative medicine therapy using potent natural cells like platelet-rich plasma and stem cells to stimulate repair and new tissue growth.
