Commercial Services

At Albion Power Company, we specialize in commercial solar installations. With our extensive commercial experience as solar installers, commercial electricians, and licensed roofers, we are able to handle all components of solar installations in a qualitative manner. From line-side tie in, replacement of electrical service or installation of a new roof, we provide the best combination of experience and service for all aspects of our commercial clients' needs. Generous commercial incentives for solar electric systems include a 30% Federal Tax Credit and the MACRS Bonus 50% First Year Depreciation. These incentives compound the benefits of a free fuel source displacing energy costs while savings grow over time. Albion Power Company can provide revenue-grade metering allowing some building owners to sell energy to tenants via the renewable energy power plant on their roof. Residential Services

At Albion Power Company, we believe in taking our high level commercial construction practices and extending them to residential customers. Few residential solar installers offer the experience of C-10 and C-39 electricians and roofers presented by our staff. Our residential systems are not off the shelf racking feebly attached with a lag bolt and caulking as is commonly done in residential solar. Our system is anchored directly into the substrate of the roof and integrated by flashing custom fabricated metal, which is sealed by our licensed roofers. This makes a difference in that our systems meet National Roofing Code-please discriminate when finding a company that does not achieve this standard. Our systems become part of the roof rather than a frail attachment. Residential solar investment is analogous to owning the means of production versus renting from the utility. Solar technology utilizes a free fuel source and, once the system has produced enough energy to recoup up front costs, the homeowner sees a financial return on an otherwise inescapable utility expense. Residential homeowners are eligible to receive a 30% Federal Investment Tax Credit (ITC) based upon the cost of the system, expediting the payback period considerably.

At Albion Power Company, we have partnered with WestCo Roofing/Berkeley Roof Services to offer combined roofing-solar services to our clients. Our combined expertise in both roofing and solar allows us to provide unmatched services to our clients. We specialize in integrating solar systems directly into the substrate of the roof and integrating the system by flashing custom fabricated metal, sealed by our licensed roofers. Our systems meet National Roofing Code, ensuring that our clients receive a system that will last the life of the investment.
