Poor Experience at Terian Farms
Terian Farms, a beautiful venue with an idyllic setting, failed to deliver a satisfactory experience for two wedding parties who held their events at the venue in April 2024. Several guests reported waiting in line for up to an hour for a drink, with only one bartender serving 134 guests. The bartending was slow and inefficient, with no servers passing out drinks during the reception. The venue's lack of organization and understaffing led to a subpar experience for many guests.
The food was also a major letdown, with guests reporting cold mashed potatoes, soggy and burnt roasted vegetables, and hard rolls. The venue was slow to replenish empty food trays and eventually ran out of food completely. The staff was unapologetic and some guests even reported being rude. Additionally, there were problems with the water and restrooms, with a leak in the ceiling of the women's restroom and no attempt to remedy the situation.
Lack of Planning and Organization
Both reviews highlight the venue's lack of planning and organization, which led to a series of problems during the reception. The venue was understaffed, with only one bartender serving a large number of guests, and there was no system in place for efficiently serving drinks. The food was also poorly prepared and presented, with guests reporting a long wait for their meals.
No Evidence of Efforts to Improve
Neither review suggests that the venue made any efforts to improve the situation during the event or afterwards. The staff seemed to be unapologetic and unresponsive to guests' concerns, which added to the overall poor experience.
