At South Farms, we're more than just a premier event venue in the heart of Litchfield County, Connecticut. Our story began in 1723, when Morris, formally known as South Farms, was a rural outlying community part of the Town of Litchfield. Today, our 4th generation farm is a thriving destination that combines the beauty of farmland with the elegance of a state-of-the-art events venue, The White Barn at South Farms.

Our vision is to create a sincere farmland experience where foodies, entrepreneurs, designers, farmers, artists, and innovators can come together to appreciate something truly wonderful. Our Services

At South Farms, we offer a range of services designed to make your event unforgettable. Our award-winning events venue, The White Barn at South Farms, is creatively constructed within the iconic Sam Paletsky Barn and features stunning pastoral views, a working farm, and all the amenities you'd expect from a premier venue. We offer exclusive use of the barn and its various spaces for weddings, private events, parties, and fundraisers, as well as access to the barnyard grounds for photographs, cocktail hour, and on-site ceremonies.

Our team of experienced event planners and coordinators will work with you to customize every detail of your event, from catering to decorations, to ensure that it's tailored to your unique style and vision. We also have a large in-house catering kitchen equipped with all necessary equipment, prep tables, walk-in fridge, and rentals including glassware, flatware, dishware, and more.
