Adam French, L.Ac. is a dedicated and experienced Licensed Acupuncturist who is proud to serve the Gouverneur, NY region. With a strong commitment to providing the highest quality of care, Adam is continually expanding his knowledge and skills to ensure his patients receive the best possible treatment.

Born and raised in Northern NY, Adam graduated from Gouverneur High School before embarking on a journey that would lead him to study alternative and indigenous medicines from around the world. After living in Denmark as an exchange student and receiving a Bachelor of Arts from St. Lawrence University, Adam moved to New York City to delve deeper into the systems of Oriental Medicine. He quickly became fascinated with acupuncture and its ability to promote wellness and healing, leading him to pursue his Master's of Science in Oriental Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York, NY.

Midway through his studies, Adam made a strategic move to Boulder, Colorado to study at Southwest Acupuncture College, where he could immerse himself in the great outdoors and explore the beautiful hiking trails. Upon graduation, Adam returned to the North Country to open his Acupuncture practice.

Credentials and Certifications

As a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of New York (#2678), Adam holds a Master's of Science Degree in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from St. Lawrence University. He is a Nationally certified Diplomat of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and NCCAOM certified Chinese Herbalist. In addition, Adam holds certifications in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture & Neurofunctional Acupuncture, Neurofunctional Sports Performance Practitioner, and Acupuncture Ambassadors Volunteer.
