Our story began when we realized that homeowners were facing a difficult decision: whether to replace their entire kitchen or to make do with the current layout and design. We knew there had to be a better way. Thus, Kitchen Facelifts was born. We aim to provide homeowners with an alternative solution that combines functionality, style, and efficiency without the need for a complete overhaul.

Our process is designed to be as seamless and stress-free as possible. We start with a consultation at your home, where we discuss your needs, preferences, and any issues you're experiencing with your current kitchen. We'll present our portfolio and physical samples of doors and drawers, as well as provide a rough estimate of the cost, timeline, and scope of the project.

Following the initial meeting, we'll schedule a second meeting to present our design concepts and a formal written proposal. This is where we work together to ensure that every detail aligns with your vision and budget. Once we've reached an agreement, we'll proceed with signing the proposal, making a deposit, ordering materials, and scheduling the off-site work and installation.

Meet Our Founder

Scott Johnson, the founder of Kitchen Facelifts, has been in the residential design and custom construction industry since 1984. His journey began while working for a local interior designer and building sets at the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati. He later received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Set and Lighting Design from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music.

After returning from working for an interior designer in New York City, Scott started his own business in 1996. He has designed and painted murals, painted furniture, and more. The economy led him to join a friend in building custom cabinets and then designing kitchens. Today, Scott is thrilled to be able to resume his journey and offer his expertise as the single source for designing, building, and painting kitchens.
