Miller Maintenance Company was founded by father and son, Jake and Tim Miller, in July 2011. Tim, a lifelong resident of Richmond, brought his expertise in the automotive industry to the table, while Jake, a chemistry graduate from Morehead State University, brought a fresh perspective to the business. With the help of Tim's uncle, who had recently retired from the asphalt maintenance business in Indianapolis, they built a small sealcoating unit to maintain Tim's personal properties. The success of this venture led to the formation of Miller Maintenance Company, which has since grown into a leading provider of asphalt services in the region.
