At Risen Star Kennel, we understand the trust that you place in us when you ask us to care for your furry family member. We take this responsibility very seriously, and we work hard to earn and maintain that trust. As the largest pet care facility in Western Arizona, serving the Tri-State Area (California- Arizona-Nevada), we strive to provide a respectful and caring environment for every individual pet in our care.

We are a one-stop-shop for boarding, grooming, and training, staffed by a professional team that is constantly learning and striving to be the very best at what we do. We are here to help you deliver on the promise of care and love that your pet deserves.

Boarding

When you're away from home, know that your dog or cat is in a safe and secure environment where they are having all of their needs met and being treated like family! At Risen Star Kennel, we offer boarding services for both dogs and cats. We provide spacious accommodations for our furry guests, complete with clean bedding, fresh water, and plenty of opportunities for exercise and play. Our staff members are trained to provide individualized care, and we work closely with pet owners to ensure that their pets receive the same love and attention that they would at home.

Grooming

Pamper your pet at RSK Grooming! Our styling professionals take your pet's comfort seriously and will get them looking and feeling like a million bucks! At Risen Star Kennel, we understand that grooming is about more than just making your pet look good. It's also about promoting good health and hygiene. Our groomers are trained to provide a wide range of services, including bathing, haircuts, ear cleaning, and nail trimming. We use high-quality grooming products that are safe for all pets, and we take the time to get to know each pet's individual needs and preferences.

Training

Build a better relationship with your four-legged family member through communication, not just training. At Risen Star Kennel, we believe that training is about more than just teaching your pet tricks or commands. It's about building a stronger bond between you and your pet, based on mutual respect and understanding. We offer a variety of training programs, including basic obedience, advanced obedience, and behavior modification. Our trainers use positive reinforcement techniques that are safe and effective, and we work closely with pet owners to ensure that the training is consistent with their values and goals.

Day Care

When you can't be there, don't leave your pet home alone! Bring them to us and we'll take care of their every need! At Risen Star Kennel, we offer day care services that provide your pet with a safe and stimulating environment while you're away. Our day care services include supervised playtime, structured activities, and opportunities for socialization. We understand that pets need mental and physical stimulation, and our day care services are designed to meet those needs.

K9 Veterans

At Risen Star Kennel, we are proud to honor our military service dogs, the four-legged heroes who serve and sacrifice for each of us. These brave animals protect our liberty and freedom, and we are committed to providing them with the care and respect that they deserve. We offer discounted services for military veterans, and we are proud to support organizations that work to promote the welfare of K9 veterans.

Family Owned and Veteran Owned

Risen Star Kennel is a family-owned and veteran-owned business. We are proud to serve our community and to support our fellow veterans. We offer a 10% discount to all veterans, including those with a DD Form 214, U.S. Military retirement ID, or Veterans Administration ID Card. This discount applies to boarding, grooming, and training services, but unfortunately cannot be applied to retail sales.

Certifications

At Risen Star Kennel, we are committed to continuing our education and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in dog behavior and training. We are proud to be certified by the American Kennel Club as a Canine Good Citizen Training Facility. We are also members of the International Association of K9 Professionals, an organization that promotes education and ethical standards for professionals involved in dog behavior and training. These certifications demonstrate our knowledge, skills, and experience in these areas, and they give our clients confidence that they are receiving the highest quality care for their furry companions.
