Willamette Valley Transport

Willamette Valley Transport was founded in September of 2000 by Tim McClain with a single van, and has since grown to over 70 vehicles with offices in Portland, Salem, and Eugene. Our company specializes in transporting clients from the physically and developmentally disabled community, providing exceptional service that exceeds industry standards.

At Willamette Valley Transport, our mission is to set the industry example of compassion, safety, and courtesy. We view our clients as family, and strive to be more than just a transportation provider - we are transportation experts. Our team of drivers are some of the best in the industry, receiving extensive training in passenger assistance, safety and securement, defensive driving, first aid, CPR, bloodborne pathogen safety, and more.

Our company is dedicated to using technology to enhance safety and efficiency on the road. All of our vehicles are equipped with tablets that provide communication, trip completion and monitoring, and turn-by-turn navigation using the leading industry dispatch software.

Our Services

At Willamette Valley Transport, we offer transportation services for a wide range of mobility types. We can provide transport to and from medical appointments, weddings, funerals, social events, personal residences, and anywhere else with an address. Our discharge and relocation services from hospitals and facilities are top-notch, and we specialize in working with hospice to provide compassionate care.

If you require wheelchair accessible transportation, look no further. We offer transportation for almost every wheelchair type, big or small, long or tall. Our drivers are experts in assisting clients in and out of the vehicle, ensuring that you or your loved one feels safe and comfortable. Our vehicles are equipped with wheelchair accessible lifts or ramps, and maintained with current ADA lift certifications and inspections from ASE Master Technicians. If you need a wheelchair provided or if you need us to wait with you or your loved one at an appointment, our team is happy to help.

In addition to our wheelchair accessible transportation, we offer stretcher accessible transportation for those who prefer or need to lie down during transport. Our stretcher teams always include at least two highly qualified staff to assist the client during every step of transport. We can provide additional staff for bariatric clients or in situations where there are multiple steps or stairs. If requested, we can wait with the client at a medical appointment so that they can remain on our stretcher, eliminating the need for transfer in a cramped medical office.

We also offer ambulatory service for clients who are able to walk. This service is available to those who use canes and walkers as well. Our drivers will assist the client in and out of the vehicle, and can stay with you or your loved one at the appointment for an extra fee.
