Company Background

Classic Media Productions was founded in 1986 by Joe Mulvey, who saw an opportunity to create a comfortable atmosphere for employees and clients in a service organization that is among the most reputable and complimented in its industry. In those early days, the company focused on duplicating videotapes for local companies and transferring photographs and home movies to videotape for personal consumers. The company soon branched out into wedding and special-event videography, and both sides of the business continue to thrive to this day.

In 1995, the company ventured into web design, creating a wedding portal for the Chicago area which was eventually picked up by Opus Publishing in New York City. As the web industry boomed, Classic continued to expand its services and embrace new technologies, always seeking creative ways to prove its reputation.
