Our Team

• Michael Melas: As the principal and owner of Melas Energy Engineering, Michael is responsible for the technical direction of mechanical system design, including HVAC, plumbing, and alternative energy systems.
• Chris Miller: As a staff mechanical engineer, Chris is responsible for mechanical system design, analysis, and drafting, as well as energy analysis and compliance.
• Nicole Porata: As a staff residential CABEC CEA certified energy consultant and HERS rater, Nicole provides expertise in residential energy calculations and compliance.
• David Daum: As a CAD draftsman, David prepares HVAC and plumbing plans for submittal.
