From humble beginnings, the company has grown to employ approximately 15-20 professionals, who are dedicated to serving both residential and commercial customers in Santa Barbara, Goleta, Montecito, the Santa Ynez Valley, and from Santa Maria to Los Angeles.

Our Story

The company was founded by Lester Derrick, who instilled the guiding vision of providing quality products and services. Working long hours alone, Lester built the business one shingle and one satisfied customer at a time. As the company's reputation for excellence grew, Lester's son Frank joined the company in 1969, and Lester retired in 1978. Frank's son Mark joined the family business in 1995, and Frank retired in 2014. Today, Derrick's Roofing Inc. continues to serve homeowners and businesses, as well as city, state, and federal agencies, with the same commitment to quality and service that has driven its growth for over sixty years.
