MidAtlantic Engineering Partners is a comprehensive civil, environmental, marine engineering, architecture, and surveying firm dedicated to providing our clients with a wide range of consulting services. With over two decades of experience, our team of professionals bring to bear extensive knowledge covering the full spectrum of real estate uses and the land development industry. We have worked on projects of all sizes within Healthcare, Residential, Mixed-use, Industrial, and Institutional markets, and within both Urban and Suburban settings.

Our Leadership Team

Our leadership team is comprised of professionals with a wealth of experience in the engineering and consulting field. They bring particular expertise in urban redevelopment, residential and commercial development, environmental engineering, and construction management. Their unique backgrounds and experiences enable them to approach projects from multiple angles, ensuring innovative and effective solutions.

Louis Zuegner, a founding principal of the firm, has been active in the engineering and consulting field for the past 30 years. His expertise covers a wide variety of land use and engineering disciplines both as a Professional Engineer and Professional Planner. He has worked with educational and institutional facilities, private developers, publicly traded corporations, not-for-profit groups, and various governmental agencies including counties, municipalities, development agencies, and housing authorities. Louis brings particular expertise to urban redevelopment and has been involved with writing various planning and redevelopment documents and reports.

William Parkhill, also a founding principal of the firm, is a Professional Engineer who has been active in the engineering and consulting field since 2003. His varied experiences include residential and commercial development and redevelopment. He has supervised and administered engineering design teams and construction inspectors. Prior to his engineering career, William spent significant time in the residential construction industry, which has provided him with real-world construction experience. The hands-on construction experience coupled with a continued desire to learn and grow as an engineer sets William apart from the competition.

John Kerber, a Professional Engineering and Licensed Site Remediation Professional, is the founder of the environmental group at MidAtlantic, a principal of the firm, and MidAtlantic's environmental practice leader. Since 1990 John has been a consulting environmental engineer for the investigation, monitoring, and remediation of contaminants in air, ground water and soil. He is responsible for the development and implementation of remediation strategies, the management of site remediation projects, and the preparation of environmental reports and permits.

• Civil Engineering: We provide a full range of civil engineering services including site design, land surveying, and construction management. Our team of professionals has extensive experience in preparing residential and commercial site plans and subdivisions, class-B recycling centers, recreational parks, athletic fields, and inter-modal linear trails.

• Environmental Engineering: Our environmental group is dedicated to providing innovative solutions to environmental challenges. We offer services including investigation, monitoring, and remediation of contaminants in air, ground water, and soil. We also develop and implement remediation strategies, manage site remediation projects, and prepare environmental reports and permits.

• Marine Engineering: We offer a variety of marine engineering services including coastal and ocean engineering, port and harbor engineering, and marine environmental engineering. Our team has experience in designing and managing marine projects including coastal protection, dredging, and marine habitat restoration.

• Architecture: Our architecture services include design, planning, and project management for a variety of projects. We have experience working on residential, commercial, educational, and healthcare facilities, and we are dedicated to creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces that meet our clients' needs.

• Survey: Our survey department provides a full range of surveying services including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction stakeout, and as-built surveys. We use the latest technology including GPS and robotic total stations to ensure accurate and efficient survey results.
