Our Story
Our story began in 1925, when Walterboro Funeral Parlors was established by Mr. G.C. Brown and Mr. W.L. Easterlin on Washington Street in Walterboro. Over the years, the funeral home underwent several changes in ownership and location, until D. Fred Parker, a native of Crocketville, took the reins in 1949. Mr. Parker's vision was to provide exceptional funeral services to the community, and his commitment to excellence has been carried on by generations of funeral directors and staff at Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home.
