Bacon Commercial Design LLC is a renowned architectural design and consulting firm based in Missouri. Our history dates back to 1972 when Richard Bacon, our founder, left a large, regional Financial Design firm to open his own practice in Ste. Genevieve. Initially, our firm offered architectural and construction services. However, in the late 1970s, we narrowed our focus to architectural services only.

In 1984, Steven Bacon, Richard's son, joined the firm. The main office moved to Crystal City in 2001. Richard retired in 2005, and Steven continues the practice from offices near his home in Crystal City, Missouri.

Steven Bacon, our current lead architect, is a University of Missouri graduate with a degree in Architecture. He joined Bacon Commercial Design in October 1984 and is a registered Missouri Architect with the registration number 7402. Over the years, Steven has been involved in various community activities, including serving on the Municipal Planning & Zoning Board, Crystal City, the Municipal Library Board, Crystal City, the Ste. Genevieve City Building Code Review Working Group, and more.
