Stephen R. Harris

Attorney Stephen R. Harris is the founding partner of Harris Law Practice LLC, bringing over four decades of experience in bankruptcy law, particularly in the realm of Chapter 11 business reorganizations. His passion for helping businesses navigate financial distress stems from his early exposure to the legal profession during his teenage years. Working for renowned Las Vegas attorney James E. Rogers, Esq., ignited his desire to pursue a legal career.

Under Mr. Rogers' mentorship, Stephen pursued his legal education at the University of San Diego, graduating in 1974. He honed his courtroom skills during his time with the Federal Public Defender's office in Reno, Nevada, achieving an impressive record of seven jury acquittals in eight criminal trials. In 1976, Stephen established his private practice in Reno, Nevada, where he has continued to serve clients with dedication and expertise.
