Americana Theatre

Americana Theatre Company is a non-profit 501(c)3, professional theatre company located in the Plymouth area of Massachusetts. Founded by South shore native, Derek Martin in 2011, the company has since grown to offer a wide range of productions and educational programs. Our mission is to enrich the community through the arts and education, providing a platform for talented individuals to showcase their skills and for audiences to be entertained and inspired.

At the heart of our company is a commitment to excellence in storytelling. We believe that stories have the power to entertain, teach, and thrill, inspiring us towards the betterment of mankind and revealing the hidden mysteries of life. To achieve this, we hire directors, actors, and designers of the highest caliber, ensuring that every production meets the highest standards.

Our educational division, Studio Americana, offers premiere training in theatre and musical theatre for students of all ages. Led by experienced instructors, including our Director of Education, Erin Friday, and Managing Director, David Friday, our programs aim to develop talent, inspire creativity, and prepare students to engage in the world of the arts.
