Nestled in Junction City, just a stone's throw away from the lively Fort Riley military base, Owls Nest Campground has been warmly welcoming campers since March 2004. Our mission is to create a haven for travelers, whether you're seeking a temporary retreat, a long-term home away from home, or simply a convenient stopover point.

We take pride in offering spacious campsites compared to other campgrounds in the area. Each site is thoughtfully designed with grassy expanses, mature trees for shade, picnic tables for enjoying meals, and convenient access to amenities like dump stations, 30 or 50 amp electrical hookups, water, and sewer connections. For added convenience, select sites offer cable television service, allowing you to unwind with your favorite shows. Not to mention, we understand the importance of a comfortable stay for RVers, which is why we happily provide propane on request, ensuring you're always fueled up for adventure.

In addition to the well-appointed campsites, we offer a range of amenities designed to cater to your needs. Our on-site laundry facilities, equipped with coin-operated washers and dryers, provide the convenience of refreshing your clothes during your stay. If you'd prefer a refreshing shower, our complimentary shower facility is always available for your use. And for those who need to stay connected, we offer 24-hour cable internet access throughout the campground, ensuring you can stay in touch with loved ones or catch up on work.

Accommodations

For those seeking a more traditional lodging experience, we offer two cozy, fully-furnished cabins. Each cabin is thoughtfully designed with all the necessary comforts to make you feel right at home.
