Our Story

Quaintance-Weaver Restaurants and Hotels was founded in 1988 by Dennis Quaintance, Mike Weaver, and Nancy King Quaintance. Our journey began with a single restaurant in Greensboro, North Carolina, and has since grown to include multiple restaurants and hotels across the region. Throughout our growth, we have remained committed to our core values of genuine service, excellence, and sustainability.

Our ESOP

In 2016, we transferred ownership of our operating companies to an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) trust, making us one of the few employee-owned restaurant and hotel companies in the country. This aligns the interests of our staff members and owners, ensuring that we work together to provide exceptional service to our guests and colleagues.
