Space Center Storage is a family-owned and operated business that has been in the storage industry since 1974. We started with a single location in Lexington, Kentucky, and have since grown to 12 locations throughout Kentucky, including locations in Lexington, Louisville/Fern Creek, and Shelbyville. Our commitment to providing excellent customer service and meeting the storage needs of our community has remained unchanged over the years.

Our Services

We offer a variety of storage solutions to cater to different needs. Our traditional self-storage units are ideal for storing items that you would be comfortable storing in a garage type area. These units range in size from 5x5 to 12x40. For items that require a controlled temperature, we have temperature-controlled storage spaces available in sizes ranging from 5x5 to 10x40. These units are perfect for storing temperature-sensitive items like electronics and furniture.

Our Commitment

Our commitment to our customers is evident in the services we offer. We have 24-hour access available to your storage unit, wide, well-lit driveways, and lighting inside many of our units. We also have electronic gate access and closed-circuit camera systems for added security. Our lease agreement is on a month-to-month basis, so there's no long-term commitment. We strive to make storage easy and hassle-free for our customers.

History

In 1974, W.R. "Bob" Sutherland opened the first mini storage facility in Lexington, Kentucky. Since then, Space Center Storage has grown to become one of the largest storage providers in Kentucky. Despite our growth, we remain committed to our core values of excellent customer service and meeting the storage needs of our community.
