Stagelights Performing Arts Center

Stagelights Performing Arts Center is a full-service performing arts center that offers classes, private lessons, and summer camps in dance, voice, and acting. We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and caring environment that fosters a love and appreciation for the performing arts while developing self-confidence in our students. We serve all levels of students, from recreational performers to advanced students looking for a progressive program.

Classes and Private Lessons

At Stagelights Performing Arts Center, we offer a variety of classes and private lessons for all ages and skill levels. Our dance program offers classes and private lessons in all genres of dance, including ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, acrobatics, and musical theater dance classes. Our voice program includes private voice lessons, musical theater class singing, and a Voice Performance Ensemble. We focus on both classical and musical theater styles of singing with emphasis on both voice technique and voice performance. Our acting program combines training with performance opportunities, offering classes and private lesson for our acting students. We teach a variety of techniques including improv, scene development, recording slate and audition reels, cold readings, and audition readiness.

College Prescreen Program

From audition techniques to audition preparation, we know what colleges want and how to best prepare young artists to succeed. Our College Prescreen Program is tailored to student's skill set and college's requirements. We focus on the artist's strengths and marketability, and take pride in being College Prescreen Specialists with proven success helping students getting accepted into one of their top three college choices.

Summer Camps

We offer full and half-day camps in multiple genres of dance and age groups. Our summer camps are staffed by Stagelights' staff and our teen volunteer Student Assistants, so students are comfortable with the teachers and counselors leading the camp. Summer camps are the perfect time to try new dance genres, work on advancing skills, and have fun in a safe environment. Our summer musicals are one of our most popular programs and sell out quickly. Students learn a musical in three weeks including all choreography, songs, lines, and blocking. Students grow quickly in this camp and love it! They perform two shows at the end of the musical camp for family, friends, and the community.

We strive to build confidence, develop creative spirit, and prepare students for the stage. We serve all levels of students, from recreational performers to advanced students looking for a progressive program. Igniting a passion for the performing arts is at the core of our mission and sharing what we love with our students is core to our teaching and program development. The key to our success is that we engage the beginner, inspire the budding star, and challenge the advanced performer. We combine classic techniques with modern approaches to give our young artists a well-rounded performing arts education. We work to balance classes and training with performance opportunities to build confidence on the stage and in life.
