Gravois Aluminum Center Console or 25 ft. plus extreme MAJEK center console boats will provide the perfect setting for an adventure of a lifetime. We accommodate both small and large groups, and our experienced captain will work hard to ensure that you have the best chance of catching the sought-after redfish and speckled trout.

Your day will start early in the morning as you cruise the bayou during a beautiful sunrise and get a glimpse of the abundant wildlife and stunning landscape. The thrill of fighting specks and reds is unparalleled, and you'll have plenty of opportunities to tell fish stories on the ride back while enjoying the cool breeze and not a worry in the world.

What to Expect

At Hawk Eye Fishing Charters, Inc., we provide everything you need to catch the "big one". We supply spinning rods and reels, live and artificial bait, fuel, ice, and fish cleaning and packaging. All you need to bring is your camera, sunscreen, hats, food and drinks, fishing license, and an ice chest to bring your cleaned fish home.

You can expect a generous portion of southern hospitality, many stories, and a fun-loving guide. Our experienced captain, John Aucoin, will make sure that your day is both challenging and fun. He has been a professional guide since 1989 and was born and raised in south Lafourche Parish. He has been featured on Fishin' Game Report with Frank Davis on WWL Channel 4 for 21 years, as well as on local radio shows, books, and magazines. Spending the day on the water with the prospect of fighting some of the many species of fish that the area has to offer is an intoxicating experience for John, and he wants to make sure that his customers have a chance to experience this for themselves.

What You Need to Bring

You will need to bring your camera, sunscreen, hats, food and drinks, plenty of water, fishing license, and an ice chest to bring your cleaned fish home. If you have a rod and reel you like to fish with, you are welcomed to bring that as well. We recommend soft sole shoes, and non-residents can purchase their 3-day charter boat trip fishing license for $10.00 by calling 1-(888) 765-2602, or online at the Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries.

Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy is as follows: if the captain cancels the trip prior to departure, a 100% refund is issued or the trip is rescheduled. If the party cancels within 7 days of the scheduled trip, the deposit is forfeited. If the party cancels within 14 days of a scheduled multi-boat trip, the deposit is forfeited. If the party cancels after departure, no refund is given.

Your host and guide, Capt. John Aucoin, also known as "HawkEye, " has been a professional guide since 1989. He was born and raised in south Lafourche Parish to parents in the oil field industry and to grandparents who were professional trappers and oyster fishermen. HawkEye has been featured on Fishin' Game Report with Frank Davis on WWL Channel 4 for 21 years, as well as on local radio shows, books, and magazines. When you spend the day on the water with HawkEye, you can expect a challenging but fun and relaxing day as you enjoy the beauty and excitement of the area's many species of fish.
