Southwest Gardens is a local garden shop located in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, dedicated to providing top-notch services and products to gardening enthusiasts. With over 70 years of combined experience, our staff has the knowledge you can depend on. Our History

Southwest Gardens was started in 1989 by Cary West, who first developed his love for plants while attending high school at Denver's North High. As a lab assistant, he was introduced to the plant world, particularly Orchids, and received his first Orchid plant as a gift from his teacher, which he still has to this day. Cary's passion for Cacti and Succulents led him to start his own greenhouse, West Wholesale Greenhouse, and eventually, Southwest Gardens was born.
