Our History

Sy Doan, the founder of Sy's Tailor Shop, began his tailoring journey at the age of 12. With a passion for sewing and alteration, he worked part-time at a men's clothing store while attending high school. After completing his education, Sy worked at an upscale department store, eventually becoming the head tailor. In 1997, he opened the first Sy's Tailor Shop in downtown Omaha. As the business grew, Sy expanded to new locations, finally settling at the current location on 120th and Blondo.
