Company History & Overview

Summit Electrical Solutions, LLC (SES) began its journey in 2003, founded by Michael Buerk, a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the electrical construction industry. Initially operating as Summit Consulting Services, Mike dedicated himself to providing electrical consulting, project management, and troubleshooting services to a clientele primarily composed of the natural gas industry and various industrial clients. This hands-on approach, coupled with his keen understanding of the industry's complexities, quickly established Mike's reputation for excellence and reliability.

In 2013, a pivotal moment arrived with the arrival of Mark Humbert, who brought with him two decades of expertise in automation and system integration. This strategic partnership marked a significant expansion for the company, propelling it towards a broader service offering and solidifying its commitment to innovation. Recognizing the growing demand for their services and the need for dedicated space to accommodate their expanding team, Summit formally incorporated as an LLC and relocated to a larger office and shop space in downtown DuBois, Pennsylvania.

The years that followed witnessed continued growth and expansion. In 2019, Summit achieved recognition as a UL 508A panel shop, a testament to their commitment to industry standards and quality control. This achievement opened new doors and allowed SES to offer cutting-edge industrial control panel solutions to their clients. Building on this momentum, Summit continues to invest in its team, technology, and infrastructure, solidifying its position as a leading electrical solutions provider in the region.
