Milwaukee Bicycle Collective

Welcome to the Milwaukee Bicycle Collective, a non-profit bike shop located in the Merrill Park Neighborhood of Milwaukee. Our mission is to provide individuals with refurbished bicycles, assist with bike repair and instruction, and promote bicycling as a sustainable mode of transportation. We believe that everyone deserves access to a reliable and affordable bike, which is why we offer a wide range of bicycles for sale, from road bikes to mountain bikes, hybrids, cruisers, and more.

Our Services

At the Milwaukee Bicycle Collective, we offer a variety of services to meet the needs of our community. Our shop is open to the public, and anyone can drop by to test ride and buy a bike in person. All bikes available for sale have been refurbished and road tested, and include one year of free service. We also accept donations of bicycles, parts, tools, and other accessories, which are used to fund our operations and programming.

In addition to bike sales, we offer a DIY open shop where volunteers can help explain how to fix your bike, but it's up to you to do the work. The suggested donation for the use of tools and repair stands is $5-10/hr after the first 30 minutes. We also have a volunteer program that allows individuals to earn a bike by volunteering their time to help ready bikes for sale.

Our Programs

We are committed to making bicycling accessible to all, with a focus on underserved populations. Our youth program provides refurbished bicycles to partner organizations and at select events, and we also fix bikes for youth pending time and volunteer availability. We believe that bicycles can be a powerful tool for empowerment and independence, and we are dedicated to making a positive impact in our community.

Upcoming Events

The Milwaukee Bicycle Collective is excited to participate in upcoming events, including the Riverwest24 ride in the Riverwest neighborhood of Milwaukee. Our History

The Milwaukee Bicycle Collective has been working since 2002 to make bicycling available to all. We are a volunteer-driven, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing individuals with refurbished bicycles and promoting bicycling as a sustainable mode of transportation. We are proud of our history and look forward to continuing to serve our community for many years to come.
