Our History

St. Anthony's Nursing and Rehab Center has a rich history dating back to 1891, when Father Thomas Mackin, pastor of St. Joseph's Catholic church, invited the Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls, Minnesota to start a hospital here. The sisters opened their first hospital in a 10-room brick house that was purchased from Thomas McEniry, and they have been providing exceptional care to the community ever since.
