Pandaw is the leading river cruise company in Asia, with a rich history dating back to the 19th century. Our journey began in 1865 when the Irrawaddy Flotilla Company was established by Scots merchants. After a brief hiatus, our company was revived in 1995 by Burma historian Paul Strachan, a Scot, who saw an opportunity to reintroduce river cruising in Burma and other parts of Asia.

Our Destinations

We operate in six amazing countries, with a fleet of 17 beautiful ships sailing on some of the world's most iconic rivers, including the Ganges River in India, the Brahmaputra River in India and Bangladesh, the Irrawaddy and Chindwin rivers in Burma, the Mekong River in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos, and the Red River and Halong Bay in Vietnam.
