Our journey began in the early 1920s with Meyer Kimball, the visionary grandfather of Robert S. Kimball. Meyer's humble beginnings saw him cutting wire for an electrical distributor in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which marked the foundation of our family's journey in the world of illumination. Over the years, our company grew and evolved, with William Kimball joining the business after serving valiantly in the United States Navy during World War II. In 1988, Robert S. Kimball Associates, Inc. was founded, and we have since become a leading provider of comprehensive commercial and residential lighting design, incorporating the most innovative technologies available.
