Our story begins with Adolph "Al" Barracato, who after leaving the Navy, began training to become an optician. With a passion for developing a unique and cozy environment for his customers, Al went on to open Adolph Optical in 1971.

Since its inception, Adolph Optical has been committed to delivering exceptional service and exceptional eyewear to its patients. Our dedicated team, led by Tom Barracato, a licensed dispensing optician and recent past president of the Opticians Association of America, strives to provide a personalized experience for each patient. Our highly trained staff, including Dr. Michelle Ford and Dr. Melissa Ford, ODs, are always ready to assist with any eye care needs.
