Meet Dr. Shane Jenks

Dr. Shane Jenks, DMD, is a board-certified pediatric dentist who has been serving the children of St. Joseph and the surrounding communities since completing his pediatric dental residency training at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Jenks was born and raised in Blackfoot, ID, and attended dental school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. He spent the next five years serving on active duty in the US Air Force before transitioning to civilian life to complete his dream of becoming a pediatric dentist.

Dr. Jenks is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and has a passion for ensuring each child is armed with all the tools necessary to live a life free of dental pain and helping to provide them with a healthy smile that will last a lifetime. When he's not in the office, Dr. Jenks enjoys being active and can often be found running along the streets near his home. He and his family also enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and traveling to new places.
