Our Story
ACE Charter High School is an open-entry/exit charter high school located in Tucson, Arizona, dedicated to providing an alternative educational environment for students who may be struggling in traditional schools. Our mission is to provide alternative, rigorous, technology-enhanced instruction for "at-risk" youth, leading to graduation and preparation for success beyond graduation.
Our Vision
Our vision is to provide a unique learning experience that combines technology-enhanced instruction with direct instruction and project-based learning, giving our students the flexibility and personalized attention they need to succeed. We believe that every student deserves a chance to succeed, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Our Services
At ACE Charter High School, we offer a range of services designed to support our students in achieving their academic and personal goals. Our services include:
- A blended learning model that integrates technology and computerized curriculum with direct instruction and project-based learning
- Open enrollment throughout the school year
- A 1:15 teacher:student ratio to ensure personalized attention and support
- Extra tutorials in math and English language studies
- Part-time employment opportunities to earn funds needed to sustain one's household

- College and career readiness programs to prepare students for life after graduation

Our Goals
Our goal is to provide our students with the skills, knowledge, and support they need to succeed in school and beyond. We believe that every student has the potential to succeed, and we are committed to helping them achieve their full potential.
Unreliable Care Services
The reviewer expresses their disappointment and frustration with the care services provided. Initially, the carer was reliable and good at their job, but things took a turn for the worse. The carer would often not show up, and the reviewer would have to chase the office for information, only to be given excuses.
Poor Communication and False Information
The reviewer claims that they were given false information about the reason for the carer's absence, with the office citing emergencies and delays, when in reality, the carer was simply sent to cover another client. This lack of transparency and honesty led to feelings of distrust.
Language Barriers and Inefficient Care
The reviewer also mentions that the replacement carers had poor English skills, making it difficult to communicate and receive proper care. Despite the lack of service, the manager had the audacity to charge for the days when no care was provided.
Unresponsive Management
When the reviewer brought the issues to the manager's attention, they were ignored, leading to feelings of mistrust and dissatisfaction.
